Xenophobe вЂ“ Presentation is top-notch, love this era of Atari cartoonish arcade graphics. ItвЂ™s up to CapcomвЂ™s par, meaning really good. Warriors of Fate вЂ“ Capcom does Fuedal combat. Turbo Force вЂ“ 3 player space shooters or shmups are rare, so itвЂ™s cool to see one. The game should have been 4 players and better. Real Ghostbusters вЂ“ This oneвЂ™s a real stinker, unfortunately. Rampage World Tour вЂ“ Expanded вЂњRampageвЂќ gameplay with less attractive graphics, gets stale nearly as quickly. Rampage вЂ“ ItвЂ™s great, but gameplay gets stale quickly. Pit Fighter вЂ“ Precursor to вЂњMortal Kombat,вЂќ Pit Fighter has really funky gameplay and controls, but could be a hilarious drinking game. Pig Out вЂ“ HavenвЂ™t really played this one, but the graphics are okay. Nitro Ball вЂ“ Spiritual successor to вЂњSmash TV,вЂќ nowhere near as good, but is fun, nonetheless. Being able to play with 3 players makes up for the graphics not being up to Final Fight standards.

Night Slashers вЂ“ Fun вЂњFinal FightвЂќ knockoff with вЂњSplatterhouseвЂќ style gore. MJвЂ™s Moonwalker вЂ“ Kinda fun for a few minutes if you can still stomach the subject matter. Mercs вЂ“ Multiplayer вЂњCommandoвЂќ with a life bar and some sweet graphics. Knights of the Round вЂ“ Capcom just killing it with another awesome 3 player brawler. King of Dragons вЂ“ Another great Capcom brawler. Gain Ground вЂ“ Most ports were 2 player, but this is a surprisingly addictive slow-paced game for 3 players. This one is also known as вЂњDevil World,вЂќ but I couldnвЂ™t get that version to work for 3 players.Дouble Dragon 3 вЂ“ So bad itвЂ™s good? Maybe. Predator вЂ“ Pure Capcom gold with an exceptionally deep fighting system for a brawlerДЄrmored Warriors вЂ“ Another Capcom gem with gorgeous Mech graphics.Д«.Rap Boys вЂ“ Absurd game from the mid-90вЂ™s, so goofy that itвЂ™s fun.Д«attletoads вЂ“ Rare made this 3 player вЂњBattletoadsвЂќ without all that pesky console censorship, think constant cartoonish fatalities.Д«rute Force вЂ“ So bad itвЂ™s good brawler from Leland in 1991.Д¬adillacs and Dinosaurs вЂ“ Absolute classic from Capcom, must playД¬ombattribes вЂ“ I remember this one in the arcade, pseudo-super deformed вЂњDouble DragonвЂќ art style and over the top beat вЂem up action.Дark Adventure вЂ“ Gauntlet clone, but with bizarre monsters and story. These are all games that can be played with a digital joystick and normal arcade buttons.ДЄlien Storm вЂ“ The US version allows for 3 players, gets a little samey, but has good graphics.ДЄliens VS. You might also have to set up the coin slots, or make it so that all players can insert coins, if there are only 2 coin slots for all players. This can be done either by using the appropriate Rom or by entering the service mode (Mame default is F2 or sometimes via dip switch, accesible via the TAB menu) and changing the number of players. Remember that many Arcade games have to be set up properly to be in 3 or 4 player mode. Thanks, BadMouth from the BYOAC forums, for making those lists! I run Hyperspin booting into a favorites list that is a combination of most of the 'All Killer No Filler' lists that are pinned in the thread at the top of the Main BYOAC forum, as well as other choice games that weren't part of the lists. Have a look at the lists and let me know if you think I should add or remove any games. Recently, I finally got around to making proper XML's for 3 player and 4 player games, so that, when I have that many players, we don't have to sift through all the games or even the hundreds of favorites to find a good game.
